What you will do
Responsible for receivingand moving raw materials parts and packing materials to prescribeddepartments and locations.
DutiesOutlined :
Process package and ship ordersaccurately
o Complete BOL and UPS Labels asneeded
o Schedule Carrier LTL pickup asneeded
Organize stock and maintain inventory stocklocations
Inspect products for defects anddamages
Examine ingoing and outgoingshipments
Organize and maintain warehousespace
o Keep warehouse and yard storage orderly to useavailable space to the best advantage.
o Handle emptyskids pallets miscellaneous dunnage and stack / store asrequired.
o Supply store front with necessary materialswhen required and move miscellaneous scrap materials out ofproduction area to warehouse or yard.
Check verify andfill customer picks for pickup / delivery
Receive andunload trucks of incoming material.
Follow incominginspection procedures manual of specific materials to selectexamine and record condition in the event of equipment or partdiscrepancies
o Verify and record counts of incoming andoutgoing material on operating system and report discrepancies tosupervisor.
Sign bills of loading on incoming materialand load miscellaneous materials to trucks such as scrap emptydrums and materials for other plants.
Perform dailyproduct cycle counts as directed by supervisor.
Reportshortages of material of any kind and perform bin counts of productdaily. Minimum 5 locations.
Abide by all company safetyand hygiene regulations
What we lookfor
Required
High School diploma orcombination of education and work.
Valid DriversLicense.
Reliable transportation to and fromwork
Good organization skills and able tomultitask.
Proven warehouse experience
Musthave previous forklift operator experience as well as be able tooperate a hand truck pallet jack and other warehouseequipment
Adequate knowledge of warehouse data systemsand inventory management
Team player with organizationalskills
Preferred
Experiencewith delivery trucks power forklift hand trucks small tools palletsinventory management process and computer terminals.
